Taj Bangalore

Every staff and member of Taj took extreme care to ensure my wife and I were taken care of. My wife was extremely unwell when we arrived and Taj left no stone unturned to take very good care of her. The chef prepared personalised dishes, the housekeeping staff ensured to enquire every day, the cab drivers ensured the car was always available to take her to the nearby clinic and more. I cant thank Taj enough for all they did to help me and my wife. A personal Thank You from my wife and I to the entire Taj Bangalore staff and family

I had a very short stay (less than 12 Hrs) therefore, my input will be limited. The hotel is within the airport area and you will need a vehicle to get there. The driver picked me up on arrival which had been arranged at the time of booking. The check-in was smooth. The room was spacious as was the bathroom which was fully stocked. The shower was luxurious and the highlight of the unit! There was fresh bottled water everywhere. The bed was very comfortable. I did not check out the mini fridge or the variety of teas and coffees on top of the mini fridge. I did try the small bottle of complimentary red wine that was on the desk. I took advantage of the excellent breakfast in the morning which was served in the cafe located within the hotel for a flat price. It was served in a large room with high ceiling. There was an attached outdoor area which I didn’t try. It had a lot of lush greenery and flowers which looked very inviting. The breakfast included both cold and hot items which was prepared on sight. The food was delicious and was topped off with a great cup of espresso. The number of breakfast items was almost limitless. To add to the ambience, there was a musician playing classical Indian music with a flute which was a pleasant touch. The hotel staff was very pleasant and professional. I would have gladly stayed longer if my situation called for it. I got the impression that the hotel mostly caters to business conferences and related activities.

The room was large! Extremely spacious with a walk-in closet. The bathroom was huge too and had a bathtub and a shower. The staff were really sweet and offered a complimentary spa session as well as a foot soak in my room. There was even a small platter with some chips, chocolate and fruit kept for me. The food was great too! Felt really pampered overall! Forgot to mention, that they had someone waiting at the airport to welcome me as I'd requested an airport pickup. PS - Taj has special offers for solo women travellers/groups of women. They go all out to make the experience special!

This is by far the best airport hotel we have ever stayed in, from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Often airport hotels have an arrogant attitude as they don't need to impress you as they know that it is unlikely you will never return, but not this one! It didn't feel like an airport hotel at all. Staff were all great too. We had dinner at the Indian restaurant the night before we left (Tamarind) and the food was excellent & very authentic. Great waiter there too - think his name was Deepak Soni. Also, when we checked out, there was a courtesy car waiting to take us back to the airport (even though the airport is literally opposite the terminal and about a 5 min walk away) and the driver took us all the way into the airport & through to security, amazing. Just felt bad that we couldn't tip him as we had ran out of Indian Rupees! Sorry!

The excellent service from the staff who always go out of the way to look after my strict dietary needs for Gluten Free (l am Coeliac). I'd like to particularly commend your Sous Chef, Ramanjulu, who made me some fantastic food that was both delicious and caused me no ill effects.
